Sioux Center Sudan

I was in the control booth at Moody Bible Institute, getting ready for my performance for the national Christians in Theatre Arts (CITA.org) conference. In the auditorium below a college drama showcase was starting up. The piece that started it off was a play by Jeff Barker called Sioux Center Sudan, as it unfolded it became clear that it was about a woman who went to Africa as a missionary in 1955. Here I was, in the alma mater of my grandmother, my greatest spiritual mentor, who went to Africa to serve as a missionary in 1948.
