Ambassador Theatre Plus All the Rest!

We recently gathered to pray over all 40 of the Broadway Theatres on one day! Here's one of them:

Plans are in the works to do it again. If you're in the NYC area and are interested in joining us, sign up for an invitation by joining our NYC list at www.RichDrama.com/Updates.

Lena Horne and The Horse and His Boy

We were so blessed to see The Horse and His Boy at the Museum of the Bible! I gave some of our impressions in this video I recorded outside the Lena Horne Theatre on Broadway...

The Horse and His Boy closes on March 4. They added a show because that matinee sold out.

I got permission to share the code SHASTA with you, which will get you 25% off: Click here for tickets.

Three of my students from Lamplighter Guild for Creative Disciplines were in it: (left to right) Lael Lawless Goodrich, Caleb Smedra, Lael's husband Chandler (he wasn't my student, but we just had to get him in the photo) and Lydia Miller (I only taught her a couple of hours at Lamplighter before she spent the rest of the week with Patricia Mauceri).

We saw the play with our friend Cindy, who hosted my performances annually over the course of 20 years in the public schools where she taught.

Praying Over The Chosen on Times Square

Last night we were blessed to see The Chosen on Times Square at the AMC Empire Theatre. During the credits we noticed that three of the cast members had seen it with us! I was able to pray over two of them: Abraham* who plays Neshon, and Aalok Mehta (in the frame below), who plays Barnaby. Intercessors for America posted the video to www.HeadlinePrayer.org yesterday:

Some of you will remember that the AMC Empire holds a very special place in my heart since my prayer to be descending the escalator after seeing a film I was in was answered when Providence showed there. Last night that prayer was answered again:

*Abraham just gave me his first name, and they haven't added his only episode so far to IMDb, but if he's there now, please post in the comments.

I play a lead in Providence, which was in theaters on Valentine's Day in 2016.

Pray Over Broadway Live: The James Earl Jones Theatre

We had a Pray Over Broadway Live prayer over the Cort Theatre on the National Day of Prayer, but we prayed over it again today, now that it's been renovated and re-named the James Earl Jones Theatre. Though Jones is known better for his role as the voice of Darth Vader, he has 21 Broadway credits. Patricia Mauceri, who was interviewed by BJ Arnett for BJA Today at the Christ Over Career National Kickoff last month, performed with him in Othello.

Join us next month in Houston on November 11-12.

Prayer Over Broadway Live: The August Wilson Theatre

I summarized the Christ Over Career National Kickoff while praying over Broadway, where we're praying there will be ripples from our movement! I also mention a miracle that happened during the Christian Worldview Film Festival in Albany, Georgia.

Praying Over Broadway on the National Day of Prayer

I was looking for a National Day of Prayer event in Manhattan, and after being shocked that there wasn't one, it dawned on me that I'd already scheduled our weekly prayer over Broadway theatres on the National Day of Prayer, so I registered it as one of their official events!

Here are the details:
We'll meet on the northeast corner of Eighth Avenue and West 47th Street in Manhattan on May 5 at 8:30 a.m. There we'll pray over Manhattan and the Entertainment Mountain of Influence, and then set forth to pray over some specific Broadway theatres. Look for the bowed heads. We could move out as early as 8:35, but we'll post the next theatre and its address in the comments below before moving to the next theatre.
We'll also make it a virtual event, so you can join us from anywhere in the world:

A new close to Five Bells for 9/11

In my 20th anniversary performance, I told how the cast and crew of What's a Girl to Do? appealed to Heaven and got the great news that the three-year-old boy who was found drowned in a pool, came back from the dead! I got a text the day after this performance letting me know the boy is "100%": www.RichDrama.com/AliveAgain.

Pray Over Broadway Live: The Lyric Theatre (Second Prayer)

From my devotion this morning: 'Who Controls Your Thoughts?'. Check it out here: https://www.bible.com/en/reading-plans/26468 Here’s the full and correct translation: “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” ‭‭John‬ ‭8:44‬ ‭ESV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/59/jhn.8.44.ESV Joyce Swingle’s article on witchcraft can be found at www.RichDrama.com/PrayWithOthersLive (7/13). www.RichDrama.com/WhatsAGirlToDo #PrayOverBroadwayLive

Frederic Defoy is looking for the most joyful people on earth. You can contact him via LinkedIn to nominate someone you think is unusually joyful:

The guy I was trying to think of during this live recording, the fellow who recorded thousands of answered prayers was George Mueller.

Pray Over Broadway Live: Studio 54

In this post I share about a miraculous connection in my work as dialect coach on Washington's Armor. I forgot to mention that it was a month of dead ends looking for help with the Delaware accent. The story I tell here is truly remarkable!

Here's the Give Him 15 episode I mentioned: The Lightning of God.
