Joyce in Frankfurt

During EuroTour18 Joyce was invited to speak in Frankfurt. She's translated to German by our friend Thorsten M.

Here's a film in which one of Rich's colleagues was translated to German: www.RichDrama.com/YourLanguage.

The photo is of a trip to the Rhine Valley we took after Joyce's message.

I play a lead in Providence, which I like to call a feature-length music video.

Good Friday

Joyce pulled together artwork from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and we gave voice to the images to tell the story of Good Friday to Westchester Chapel:

Pray that many are moved closer to the Lord and into relationship with Him if they don't know Him yet.

Images from The Metropolitan Museum of Art used with Open Access permission. Scripture adapted from the King James Version.

The Dead aren’t Prideful: Overcoming the Spirit of Offense

This article by Joyce was posted to www.HeadlinePrayer.org on February 14, and I forgot to share it in the excitement of the Asbury Outpouring!

Lord, convict us of self-focus causing us to be sensitive to offense. Bind the spirit of offense away from us. In Jesus’ name.

IFA:
This article addresses one of the barriers to revival in us and in our communities. It also addresses one of the forces that quenches revival.
When I was a young believer, I heard a noted preacher talk honestly to his congregation. “You are overly sensitive and hurt by so many things because you are focused on yourself” was the essence of his message. “Grow up!” might have been my exhortation.

Pray the article leads many closer to the Lord and removes barricades to revival spreading.

Declare God's Salvation

Joyce opens with Communion, referring to Jesus Revolution. I give testimony centering on the Asbury Outpouring of Feb. 2023

Rachel Taylor presents a message from 2 Peter: 3: 15, with a focus on the first part of verse 15, as she continues the series "What Happens When a Created People Walk Away From Their Creator?" She also refers to Jesus Revolution.

Pray and Obey

Joyce shares her message on 2 Peter 3:14 from Asbury University as the Outpouring continues. She uses clips from interviews with Jeannine Brabon, who prayed for revival at Asbury University as a freshman in 1967. In 1970 a revival went for 185 hours in the same chapel where the current Outpouring has been going for 275 continuous hours.

Why Joy Matters

On Tuesday Joyce and I each had an article post on www.HeadlinePrayer.org.

Mine was based on an interview I did with Fred Defoy about his study on joy. His wife, Johanna Defoy, worked with me to coach actors on their French accents for Washington's Armor. She recommended me to Fred as a Joy Exemplar. My article was "Why Joy Matters":

Lord, during these dark times show us how You want to be our joy! May we be unstoppable in our assigned intercession.

Fred Defoy is looking for “joy exemplars.” While working with Christian ministers, he happened to notice that those who wanted to quit the work of ministry were those who had lost their joy. [Continue reading...]

Here's the interview with Fred:

Lord, help us honor Your Word as we seek You this year. Help us live as You would have us live. In Jesus’ name.

We’re a couple of weeks into 2023, and if you haven’t already tossed the New Year’s resolutions, this may be the week they hit the trash. I gave up on these earnest-but-doomed-to-failure attempts at self-improvement many years ago, but when a new year starts, I do desire to establish benchmarks for what is to come. [Continue reading...]

Later that day Joyce and I covered those articles and others on Headline Prayer Live:

Then, on Thursday, Joyce's article "Dave Kubal: Truth and Justice in 2023 posted on www.HeadlinePrayer.org":

Lord, we pray Proverbs 21:15. ”When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous, but terror to the evildoer."

IFA President and CEO Dave Kubal is calling intercessors to pray that 2023 would be the year of truth and justice. Kubal highlighted three situations the Lord used to show him the prophetic prayer direction: the miracle of Twitter and how it now protects free speech; how Twitter’s new policies have revealed proof that there were government agencies that were weaponized against the freedoms of America; and, finally, how this resulted in the spiritual battle for the Speaker of the House. Kirk Cameron's Story Time

Joyce and I covered Kirk Cameron's book reading at the Scarsdale Public Library, just north of NYC: 'Kirk Cameron: “There’s More of Us than We Thought.”'

We prayed onsite before the event began, and here are some interviews we did, starting an hour before the first reading:

Here's footage of the entire event:

Here are interviews I did with some folks before the event began:

Here's the first part of the article:
Lord, thank you for Kirk Cameron and his boldness to bring Your love and witness to America through these library readings. Multiply his efforts to embolden the millions who desire America to return to You.

An overflow crowd showed up for Kirk Cameron’s reading of his children’s book As You Grow at the Scarsdale (NY) public library on Friday, Dec. 30. Other public libraries had refused to allow Cameron to read his book.

In Scarsdale more than 400 people were turned away, although Cameron and a team of staffers from publisher Brave Books held two sessions of 170 people each in the room they had rented.

Restraining Satan

Today on Pray with Others Live we covered several articles, including two we wrote. Joyce's article was "Restraining Satan," and mine was "IFA Wins Award at Content2022 Film Festival and Media Summit."

Here's our program:

These are my interviews with Tim Shields, director of Content2022 Film Festival and Media Summit, and Dr. John Diamond, who runs the media track there:

This interview is with James and Justina Page, who were the prayer directors for Content2022 Film Festival and Media Summit. They play love interests on Breaking Strongholds:

I Dreamed I Was Free tells the story of Quaker abolitionist John Woolman, who spoke against slavery a century before our Civil War. I'll be performing this on Friday in Concordia, Kansas: www.RichDrama.com/Schedule.

The Blood Covenant

Joyce shares her findings on the Blood Covenant from various passages of Scripture and The Blood Covenant: The Story of God's Extraordinary Love for You by James L. Garlow and Rob Price.

Pray with Others Live: Focus on the Ukraine

Joyce and  led Intercessors for America in praying over six articles from www.HeadlinePrayer.org yesterday, one of which I wrote: "While Mandates Fall, Don't Drop Your Guard," which is a follow-up to my previous article, “Oregon’s Radical Approach to Covid-19.”

The Lord Is Calling the Supreme Court Back

Joyce’s article, The Lord Is Calling the Supreme Court Back, posted to www.HeadlinePrayer.org on November 6 and focuses on one element of an interview Joyce did with Philip Jauregui, one of the authors of the amicus brief being submitted to the Supreme Court along with the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health case they’ll hear on December 1.

The article has sparked much prayer for our Supreme Court justices as they consider two cases, along with Biden Administration v. The Texas Heartbeat Law, either of which could overturn Roe v. Wade. Pray the Lord moves many hearts to pray for the end of this slaughter of the innocents.

I Dreamed I Was Free tells the story of Quaker abolitionist John Woolman, who spoke against slavery a century before it was outlawed in America.

Horatio Spafford Introduces "It Is Well" for the Global Hymn Sing

On Sunday over 700,000 people around the globe joined in the Global Hymn Sing, hosted by Keith and Kristyn Getty (www.GlobalHymnSing.com). Our contribution was to portray Horatio and Anna Spafford introducing this year's hymn, "It Is Well."

I'm always looking for the fingerprints of the Lord, and this week I noticed that within 22 hours I was a part of projects from four centuries:
18th c.: Wed., 6:30 p.m.: Coached an actress on her German accent for a project I haven't gotten permission to talk about yet
20th c.: Wed., 7:30 p.m.: Portrayed a Scotsman and a Frenchman in the audio drama Titanic Waif
21st c.: Wed., 8:30ish p.m.: Played Wesley (and other characters) in a read through for What's a Girl to Do?
19th c.: Thur., 2:00 p.m.: Portrayed Horatio Spafford introducing "It Is Well."
Jasmine reconnected with us and her roommate
from college while in NYC.
I pointed this out to Jasmine Myers, director of The Diary of Perpetua, and she said she was editing one of my scenes during that window of time, and though it is shot as a modern piece, the story we're telling takes place in the 2nd c., so that's five centuries in one chronological day, and all of the projects point to the Lord's goodness over time!

By the way, Jasmine was kind enough to show us a rough cut of The Diary of Perpetua as it stands now, and we're VERY excited about how it's looking!

In 2018 Rich joined the Global Hymn Sing by portraying Eric Liddell, of Chariots of Fire, leading "Jesus Shall Reign": www.RichDrama.com/EricLiddellHymnSing. See the rest of Olympic champion Eric Liddell's Chariots of Fire story in Beyond the Chariots. Watch it online and book a live performance.

Will the Election Audits Bring Revival

After hearing the preliminary findings of the Maricopa County audit in July and the final hearing a couple of weeks ago, I could tell Doug Logan, head of Cyber Ninjas, was a believer by the way he shared Scripture and his heart.

This was confirmed when he appeared on Pray with America’s Leaders last Thursday. It was thrilling to hear him speak openly about his faith!

Joyce wrote an article about that episode for www.HeadlinePrayer.org: “Will the Election Audits Bring Revival.”

Joyce and I are regular leaders on another Intercessors for America program, Pray with Others Live: www.RichDrama.com/Prayer.

Pray with Others Live: Joyce Leads the Charge Against Witchcraft

On Tuesday, Joyce's article, "WARRING AGAINST WITCHCRAFT: CUTTING THE DEMONIC CORDS," was posted on www.HeadlinePrayer.com, and she led prayer over that and several other articles, many targeted on New York, where we live, on the program Pray with Others Live.

I'm so proud of my bride!

As I'm posting this, over 19,635 people have clicked through to read the article. It's been shared 493 times, and between Intercessors for America's YouTube and Facebook accounts, that episode of Pray with Others Live has been viewed over 3,000 times.

At the same time, I was performing in the upcoming film, The Diary of Perpetua, filming in Salem, Massachusetts. I’d been praying for a moment to pray downtown and blow the ram’s horn, inviting the Lord’s presence. As only Holy Spirit could direct it, on our day of rest we stopped for boba tea, and we were literally steps away from the Memorial for the Salem Witch Trials. While the number of people reading Joyce’s article and watching the Pray with Others Live episode, which both addressed witchcraft, were still climbing, I prayed on that site to invite the Lord to break the real witchcraft which has risen up across the street and around the town where dozens were falsely accused of witchcraft in the late 17th c. You can watch my prayer at the Salem Witch Trials Memorial by clicking here.

You can sign up to receive emails when Joyce and/or I will be on Pray with Others Live at www.RichDrama.com/Prayer.

Joyce's Testimony on Pray with Others Live

I was just delighted to hear my bride's testimony again, and to see how it folded into this week's articles from www.HeadlinePrayer.com, especially in light of answered prayer!
