Praying for Uvalde and Beyond

Joyce and I were on Pray with Others Live today, along with Intercessors for America's President and CEO, Dave Kubal, who interviewed David Holt, an intercessor from Uvalde, TX. Holt provided on-site insights and prayer direction to cover his hometown as it reels from last week's school shooting.

Joyce and I covered other articles from www.HeadlinePrayer.org including my article, "Lies of the Left."

Here's today's program:

And here's my full interview with Peter Puhek, a science analyst for the U.S. Air Force:

Pentecost Sunday is June 5 this year. Consider enhancing your corporate and/or personal worship experience with “Pentecost: Beyond the Imagination,” a scene from my one-man play, The Acts: www.RichDrama.com/Pentecost.

The Rocky Mountain Christian Filmmakers Camp

I got to reprise my role of the Slave Trader from Polycarp for this intro
to Zack Lawrence's review of the film.

I just got back from a great two weeks at the Rocky Mountain Christian Filmmakers Camp, where we produced five short films, got an IMDb credit for all of our students when they performed in an opening sequence for film instructor Zack Lawrence's Indy Christian Review, and coached them all in auditions for an upcoming feature film. To make the most of our time together we uploaded teaching modules the students watched in advance so they could hit the ground running. Once on site we made the whole process as close to professional production as possibly, while teaching principles along the way.

We also had Emmy Award-winning writer John Fornof with us for a few days. He's directed actors for his radio dramas who have performed in Narnia, The Lord of the Rings and Downton Abbey, and he directed our students on voice-over pieces.

Before Film Camp began we had a conference call with Bev Holloway. She fielded questions and shared from her wealth of experience casting nearly 60 feature films.

During both weeks of Film Camp actor/filmmaker/casting director Rebekah Cook gave an over-the-phone workshop on creating an actor website. She shared some outstanding insights, and then Zack and Ken Lawrence gave a student-only offer to create their sites for an incredibly reasonable rate.

You can hear my report on the Film Camp for our church, Westchester Chapel Church of the Nazarene by clicking here.

Pray about joining us next year: www.ChristianFilmmakersCamp.com.

Rocky Mountain Christian Filmmakers Camp

I had a blast teaching and actor coaching at The Rocky Mountain Christian Filmmakers Camp last summer, and I'm looking forward to returning next year! They've put together a promo that includes a shot from my cameo in the short film we created that week.

Compassion and Pure Gold

It's been great to be so close to Compassion headquarters. Ken McKinney, my liason who's far left in the photo, helped me help our youth sponsor 21 kids! That's a record for me. Follow our youth's lead and sponsor a child now at RichDrama.com/Compassion.

Last night I was honored to have David and Luann McCasland in attendance as I performed my play on Eric Liddell. David wrote Pure Gold, considered by some to be the definitive biography on Liddell.

The most exciting thing about last night was after the play when I challenged the students to stand if they were willing to go anywhere God sent them. As far as I could tell, all 300 youth were on their feet.
